Closing Shift Items Guide: Keys, Gear, and Weapons

Which Items Do You Need to Escape?

Four keys and a four-digit code stand between you and the elevator in Roblox’s Closing Shift. This Closing Shift items guide covers the objective items, flashlight, and paid equipment that help you survive the search. Start with keys and code scraps: weapons can interrupt a chase, but collecting the escape requirements is what gets the elevator back.

Your search revolves around three types of finds:

  • Exit keys: Collect four keys to fulfill the elevator escape objective.
  • Code scraps: Search for pieces of the four-digit code alongside the keys.
  • Room keys: Named keys open access to areas such as the dining room, women’s restroom, Kitchen B, and backstage.

Search drawers, closets, and boxes rather than only scanning the floor. Objective finds are shared across the group, so coordinate your searches instead of having everyone inspect the same containers.

Ask the Puppet at the security desk for help when you need direction. You can speak, type, or choose a question from its list. Use those prompts to get advice without having to phrase a voice question while something is listening nearby.

Flashlight, Batteries, and Night Vision

Your flashlight does more than reveal dark hallways. Keep its beam steady on Foxy’s face until he retreats. Looking away interrupts the defense you need against him.

Batteries are resources to watch while searching. Conserve your light when you can navigate safely, and pick up batteries you find during exploration. Keep enough lighting available to respond when Foxy approaches.

The Night Vision Goggles pass costs 299 Robux and lets you see in darkness with a battery that never drains. That gives you a separate visibility option for exploring the restaurant. Continue using the flashlight’s specific counter against Foxy.

The security cameras also have a light-based defensive use: flash the squatter away through the camera system. Don’t confuse that interaction with holding your handheld light on Foxy.

Weapons, Ammo Limits, and Robux Prices

Closing Shift’s weapons buy time against animatronics, with different ammunition limits and interruption effects. Even the Minigun’s dismemberment is temporary: its targets rebuild after 45 seconds.

Explosives399 Robux15 grenades and 7 C4 each round; additional supplies in cratesBlasts animatronics apart, cracks walls, and blows doors off

Shotgun

The Shotgun is a pump-action weapon with both knockback and a stun. Use the interruption to create distance and resume searching for objective items.

You can also hand a shotgun to EXG, which earns the ARMED ESCORT badge. The Shotgun pass is a permanent purchase.

Minigun

Hold fire to spin up the Minigun, then release before it overheats. Manage that firing window alongside the restaurant’s three ammo cans.

Move away while a dismantled hunter is rebuilding; the 45-second recovery means the encounter has a timer. The Minigun pass is permanent.

Sniper Rifle

Aim for the head to remove an animatronic’s head and stun it. A body shot knocks an animatronic flat.

Track your five-round magazine and search for hidden ammo boxes. You can hand this weapon to EXG, too.

Explosives

The Explosives pass supplies both grenades and C4 each round. Its effects extend beyond enemies to walls and doors.

Look inside crates for additional explosives during the search. Don’t mistake a blasted animatronic for a completed escape objective—keep collecting keys and code scraps.

Support Gear and Other Passes

Several purchases change how you explore, detect threats, or recover from mistakes. These are their individual functions and prices:

PassPriceFunction
Night Vision Goggles299 RobuxProvides vision in darkness with a battery that never runs out
Radar50 RobuxDisplays nearby monsters as blips in a corner of your screen
Animatronic Bodyguard199 RobuxSearches nearby drawers, opens doors, scouts, warns you, distracts pursuers, and fights
Infinite Stamina99 RobuxRemoves stamina depletion while sprinting and crawling through ceiling vents
Infinite Lives175 RobuxLets you get back up after every death in the restaurant
Shove Players100 RobuxPushes the player in front of you, with a seven-second cooldown

Radar supplies proximity information. Use its blips to reconsider a route before walking into a nearby monster.

Animatronic Bodyguard combines searching assistance with defensive actions. Continue checking closets and boxes yourself while it searches nearby drawers.

Infinite Stamina removes the stamina limit on running and vent crawling. Keep planning around doors and hiding places, since stamina is only one part of escaping pursuit.

Infinite Lives lets you recover after deaths. For the NOT A SCRATCH badge, however, you still need to escape without dying.

Animatronic Bodyguard, Infinite Lives, Shove Players, and Radar are permanent purchases. You can access the experience through the Closing Shift Roblox game page.

Several badges give you concrete equipment and collection goals:

  • BY THE BOOK: Personally find a key and a code scrap, then escape in the elevator during that same night.
  • STAND YOUR GROUND: Keep Foxy back with your light until he retreats.
  • ARMED ESCORT: Hand EXG a shotgun.
  • SCRAP METAL: Tear a hunter apart with the Minigun.
  • ENDO ROOM: Find the endo room’s key, get past the endoskeletons, and open the cabinet at the back.

For BY THE BOOK, collect both required items yourself before riding out. Shared group progress helps complete the escape objective, but this badge specifically requires your own key and code-scrap finds.

For ENDO ROOM, finding the key is only the opening step. Get through the endoskeletons and reach the rear cabinet to complete the badge requirement.
