How Does Bonnie Work in Closing Shift?
Closing Shift Bonnie talks back, demands that you follow rules, and still hunts you through the restaurant. His conversations can make an encounter feel manageable right before it turns dangerous. Pay attention to what he asks, keep unnecessary microphone noise down, and keep your escape objective in mind.
Bonnie is the band's guitar-carrying rabbit in this Roblox survival game. His dialogue centers on order, clear speech, attention, and behavior during performances. He also participates in the birthday party, where following the event's instructions matters more than continuing your search.
The animatronics hunt by different rules. Keep Foxy's flashlight counter separate from your plan for Bonnie: the instruction to hold a light on an animatronic's face specifically applies to Foxy.

Talking to Bonnie Without Losing Focus
Bonnie can respond to conversation, including questions about himself. His replies often return to rules rather than offering reassurance. Address him by the correct name; calling him Freddy can earn a correction instead of answering your question.

During an interaction:
- Read the current dialogue. Respond to the instruction in front of you instead of repeatedly asking whether he is friendly.
- Speak clearly when asked. Keep your response short so you can follow what happens next.
- Leave room to listen. Stop talking after your answer rather than filling the encounter with repeated requests.
Talking an animatronic into releasing you earns SILVER TONGUE. That gives conversation a practical purpose, but it does not make every exchange a release opportunity.
For help with the restaurant itself, visit the Puppet at the security desk. The Puppet accepts speech, typed questions, or selections from a menu. Use that menu when voice recognition gets in the way, and ask for guidance about keys, cameras, or the elevator.
Manage Noise and Use Cover Carefully
The animatronics can hear voice chat. Keep your microphone quiet while searching, especially when teammates are nearby. Save spoken coordination for information that helps the group move forward.

Use headphones to hear dialogue and approaching threats. Before entering another room, pause long enough to listen rather than talking over every sound.
The restaurant offers closets, vents, and barricaded doors as survival tools. Animatronics can kick doors in, so use a barricade to buy time while planning your next move. Keep another route in mind instead of waiting behind the same door indefinitely.
Silence also leaves room to hear instructions. A conversation, a chase, and the birthday event ask different things of you; follow the current situation instead of applying one response everywhere.
Follow the Birthday Party Rules
Bonnie joins the other mascots during the birthday party. The event includes an opportunity for questions, followed by stricter instructions about staying seated and remaining silent during the song.

Follow the sequence carefully:
- Stay in your assigned seat.
- Ask questions during the invitation to speak.
- Stop speaking when the singing begins.
- Remain in the room until the event releases you.
Keep your microphone muted during the song to avoid adding accidental speech. Resist the urge to narrate the scene to friends while it plays out.
Surviving the birthday party earns PARTY GUEST. Staying in the room through the birthday song and living also fulfills DON'T LEAVE.
Use Weapons to Create Time for the Escape
The shotgun costs 70 Robux, provides ten shells per round, and knocks animatronics back while stunning them. Additional shells can be found around the restaurant.
Use the breathing room to move toward an objective. Conserve ammunition rather than firing simply because Bonnie is visible.
Your escape requires four keys and a four-digit code to call the elevator back. Search drawers and cabinets, collect code scraps, and use the Puppet's guidance when you lose track of the task. Entering the correct code alone leaves the elevator's deadbolts unresolved if you still need keys.
For BY THE BOOK, find a key and a code scrap yourself, then escape in the elevator during that same night.
