How to Survive Chica
The Closing Shift Chica encounter can turn a routine key search into a chase. Chica follows noise, and when the kitchen goes quiet, she is out. Crouch and stop unnecessary voice chatter when you notice that change.
Sound is the warning to watch for here. In Closing Shift on Roblox, the animatronics respond to voice chat, so shouting instructions to your friends can create another problem while you are trying to escape.
Build your response around that kitchen cue:
- Listen while searching. Pay attention to the kitchen going silent instead of focusing entirely on drawers and cabinets.
- Crouch to reduce noise. Resist the urge to sprint through every hallway while looking for objective items.
- Cut the running commentary. Keep voice communication brief when Chica is nearby.
- Read encounter prompts. If she starts speaking directly to you, pay attention to what she asks before answering.
Keep each animatronic’s rule separate. Foxy retreats when you hold your light on his face; Chica’s noise tracking calls for a quieter response.
Chica’s Kitchen and the FIVE-STAR SERVICE Badge

FIVE-STAR SERVICE has been awarded 819 times. You earn it by making it out of Chica’s kitchen alive.
Her kitchen dialogue leans heavily into restaurant service: taking orders, preparing a table, and asking you to help cook. Those polite lines can accompany a dangerous encounter. An invitation to help does not make her safe to approach casually.
If Chica directs you to the kitchen, listen to the instruction rather than talking over it. Lines about helping the cook and waiting in the kitchen are part of her interactions, so keep your attention on the encounter instead of continuing a conversation with teammates.
Keep the kitchen badge separate from your escape objective. Leaving the restaurant requires four keys and a four-digit code to call the elevator back. Continue searching drawers and cabinets for those items; surviving Chica is only one part of getting out.
Ask the Puppet at the security desk for help while working toward those objectives. You can speak, type, or choose from her list of questions. Asking her for a tip earns A LITTLE ADVICE. Finding a key and a code scrap yourself, then escaping in the same night, earns BY THE BOOK.
Talking to Chica and Surviving the Birthday Party
Conversation can affect encounters. The game allows animatronics to spare you when you say the right thing, and SILVER TONGUE rewards talking one into letting you go.

Avoid treating a greeting or compliment as a guaranteed escape. Chica can answer in a welcoming restaurant voice and still attack. Listen to her response and follow the current instruction instead of repeatedly asking whether she is friendly.
The birthday party introduces a different set of rules:
- Stay in your seat.
- Remain silent while the animatronics sing.
- Follow the warning to avert your eyes during the disturbing scene involving Bill.
- Wait until the party ends and you are dismissed before leaving.
Chica participates in the party, including its cake dialogue. Keep following the party instructions while that event is active.
Using a Shotgun During a Chase
The Shotgun costs 70 Robux and provides ten shells per round, with additional ammunition available around the restaurant. Its blasts knock animatronics back and stun them.

The purchase is permanent, so you only need to buy it once.
Use that stun to create space and move away. Conserve ammunition instead of spending shells to provoke another response: ten shots can disappear quickly when several animatronics are nearby.
Keep listening after firing. A weapon gives you another way to interrupt an encounter, while the kitchen’s silence still tells you when to lower your noise and watch for Chica.
