Can You Play Closing Shift With Friends?
Closing Shift multiplayer supports solo play or a run with up to 10 friends, and the animatronics can hear voice chat. That makes every conversation part of surviving the restaurant. Your group needs four keys and a four-digit code to call the elevator back.
The Roblox experience has a maximum server capacity of 50 players. The advertised adventure group size is separate: you can tackle the restaurant alone or with up to 10 friends.
Head to Closing Shift on Roblox to play. Bring headphones—the restaurant’s audio cues matter when deciding whether to move, hide, or stay put.
Coordinate the Search and Watch the Cameras
Give everyone a clear responsibility before spreading through the restaurant. Build your plan around the keys, code, security desk, and cameras:

- Search for escape items. Divide the search among teammates, then report key and code-scrap discoveries with brief callouts.
- Ask the Puppet for help. Visit the security desk for a tip. Doing this earns A LITTLE ADVICE.
- Watch the cameras. Keep an eye out for the squatter and use the camera flash to drive him away. This earns CAMERA SHY.
- Track your escape progress. Keep your group focused on collecting all four keys and completing the four-digit code.
For BY THE BOOK, find a key and a code scrap yourself, then escape during that same night. Take part in the search if you want that badge.
CLOSING TIME rewards escaping through the elevator. If you are chasing NOT A SCRATCH, you also need to make it out without dying once, so plan your movement around survival rather than rushing into another room.
Voice Chat Can Help—or Attract Trouble
The animatronics listen when you speak through voice chat. Keep search callouts short, and give teammates room to hear what is happening around them.

Speech also has a survival use: saying the right thing can persuade an animatronic to release you. Successfully talking your way out earns SILVER TONGUE. Listen to the encounter’s dialogue before replying, and let the teammate being addressed respond.
The birthday party demands different behavior. Stay seated and stop talking when instructed, especially during the singing. Surviving the event earns PARTY GUEST.
SPARED has a more specific requirement: get caught on your last life, talk back, and follow where you are told to go. Keep that condition separate from simply persuading an animatronic to let you leave.
React to Each Threat’s Rules
Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, Foxy, Golden Freddy, and Fredbear hunt under different rules. Use the cues you recognize instead of relying on the same escape response for every encounter.

- Keep your light aimed at Foxy’s face. Holding him back until he retreats earns STAND YOUR GROUND. Call out the encounter so nearby teammates know why you have stopped moving.
- Stay in the room when you hear singing. Surviving the birthday song without leaving earns DON'T LEAVE. Pause the search until the danger passes.
- Use closets and vents to hide or move through the restaurant. Identify those options while exploring so you have somewhere to head during a chase.
- Barricade doors to obstruct a pursuer. The animatronics can kick them in, so keep looking for your next move.
- Respond when the squatter grabs a teammate. Rescuing a friend who is being dragged away earns NOT ON MY WATCH.
If the power goes out, resetting the breaker earns LIGHTS BACK ON. Include that task in your group’s callouts so someone can respond while the rest keep track of nearby threats.
Optional Gear for Group Runs
The Animatronic Bodyguard costs 199 Robux and accompanies its owner through the restaurant. It searches nearby drawers, opens doors, scouts, warns you, distracts pursuers, and fights. Treat those abilities as support while your group continues searching for the escape items.
The Shotgun costs 70 Robux and provides ten shells per round, with additional ammunition around the restaurant. Its blasts knock animatronics back and stun them. Save shots for encounters where that interruption can help you move away.
For 50 Robux, Radar displays nearby monsters as blips in a corner of the screen. Use those warnings alongside camera checks and audio cues when deciding where to search next.
